The blade of this round knife is made from ATS-34 stainless steel. It is 1/16" X 2.375" X 4.625" and has been sub-zero quenched with a triple temper to ~ Rc 60. The handle is stabilized California Buckeye Burl. wood that is dovetailed into 416 stainless steel bolsters. The handle bolts are stainless steel. It comes with a black hand sewn leather protective sheath. The Buckeye Burl was stabilized by myself. I can electro etch your name into the side opposite the makers maker, if you like, for no extra cost.

The Skiving knife blade is 1/8" X 1 3/4" X 3 5/8". The overall length is 7 5/8". The blade is high carbon ATS-34 stainless steel. The blade is heat treated and triple tempered to a ~ Rc 61 with a sub-zero quench to aid in edge retention. The bolster and Corby bolts are brass. The handle scales are Coco Bolo wood dovetailed into the brass bolsters. The cutting edge is slanted ~ 25 degrees and the bevel is ~ 20 degrees.
This Hoss Skiving knife is called that name because it is heavy duty.
