This lockback folder has a hollow ground blade of .105" X .840" X  4".  

The blade steel is Crucible CPM S30V, a very high quality stainless steel. 

This steel is another of the "Super" stainless steels from Crucible Metals.

The blade has been heat treated in house and triple tempered  including

 a sub-zero treatment to a Rockwell hardness of ~Rc of 60. 

The blade spine and lock bar are hand file worked with my rope pattern (no Dremel tool, just hand files). 

The bottom of the liners are also file worked.  The front and rear bolsters and  liners are stainless steel  

 The rear bolster spacer is Fossil Walrus tooth. The scales are stabilized California Buckeye Burl. 

The stabilization process is mine using Loctite resinol 90C. 

The hand sewn leather belt pouch has an Ostrich top cover and is included.

Gold Lip Mother of Pearl Married to Fossil Walrus Tusk

This Lockback folder has a hollow ground blade of CPM-S30V

 super stainless steel at .110 " X .700" X  3.0" inches. 

 The closed size is 4.0" and the total open length is 7.0". 

The blade has been heat treated in house and triple tempered  including a sub-zero treatment

 to a Rockwell hardness of ~Rc  60.  

The spine has my hand file work in a Vine pattern. 

The scales are Gold Lip MOP with Fossil Walrus Tusk serving as a support layer for added depth. 

The scales are dovetailed into 416 stainless steel bolsters in the front and capped at the rear with same steel. 

The lockbar pin is stainless steel and the rear pin is nickel silver.  The  liners are  stainless steel. 


 

 

2" Wharncliffe Stag Folder

This Lockback folder has a hollow ground blade of CPM-S30V super stainless steel at .090 " X .500" X  2.0" inches. 

The blade has been triple tempered including a sub-zero treatment to a Rockwell hardness of ~Rc 60.  

The spine has my hand file work in a vine pattern.  The premium scales are India Stag. 

The scales are dovetailed into a solid stainless steel bolster (bolster is part of the stainless steel liner)

 in the front and capped at the rear with 416 stainless steel. 

The liners are also fileworked on the bottom inside portion.  The pins are nickel silver.  


 

  

MOTHER of PEARL 

This lockback folder has a hollow ground blade of 3/32" X 3/4" X 3".  

The blade steel is Crucible CPM S30V, a very high quality stainless steel.  T

his steel is another of the "Super" stainless steels from Crucible Metals.

The blade spine and lock bar are hand file worked with my vine pattern  (no Dremel, just files). 

The bottom of the liners are also file worked.  The front and rear bolsters and  liners are nickel silver. 

The lanyard hole is 3/16".  The escutcheon plate is nickel silver. 

The blade has been triple tempered with a sub-zero quench

for a ~ Rc 60.  The scales are genuine Mother of Pearl.   

The hand sewn leather belt pouch is included. 

 


 

 

     

HOMBRE

The hollow ground blade on this .125" X  7/8 " X  4 " folder is D-2 tool steel and has a hand rub finish. 

This mid-lock folder when fully open is 9 inches and sports a lanyard hole. 

The blade has been sub-zero triple tempered to ~Rc 60. 

The bolsters front and back are nickel silver as are the liners. 

The handle scale pins are nickel silver. 

The spine of the blade and lock bar are file worked in my vine pattern. 

The bottom of the knife's liner is file worked in a scallop pattern. 

The handle scales are dovetailed into the front bolsters and are stabilized Giraffe bone. 

The ambidextrous thumb stud is stainless steel.
